*Bags two awards at BOICT

ActivEdge Technologies, a leading Pan-African Information Technology company is in a harvest of awards both locally and internationally during the month of April.

The technology company was recently honoured and recognised by F5 Networks Inc., a United States based company and global leaders in Application Delivery Networking as a Rising Star in an award presented to the company at the 2019 F5 Forum in Johannesburg, the South African Capital.

At the forum which held, late April with international and local industry experts in attendance, the IT company staved off competition from other key industry players to bag the coveted title.

In addition to the award, ActivEdge Technologies has bagged a Gold Unity Partner status in recognition of its giant strides towards attaining high technical capability level while providing excellent services to its versed and numerous customers on the F5 platform.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Major Channel Account Manager for Sub-Sahara Africa, Simon McCullough, Thursday.

“On behalf of the F5 team, I would like to congratulate you in achieving Gold status with F5. I look forward to the mutual successes we will achieve together over the coming years, along with the continued investment in F5 skills,” the statement read in part.

Just recently, the firm won two awards at the Beacon of ICT (BoICT) Distinguished Lecture/Awards Series which held at the Eko Hotels and Suites, Lagos.

The technology company took home the IT Service Provider of the Year and the IT Implementation and Support Company Awards at the event organised by the Communication Week Media Limited.

It will be recalled ActivEdge Technologies won in many categories in the 2014 and 2016 editions of the event. The awards, the 10th in the series had in attendance more than 130 policy and decision makers in various sectors such as ICT, financial institutions and financial technology.

With head office in Lekki, Lagos and branches in Harare, Kampala and Nairobi, ActivEdge Technologies Limited specialises in software development, database and analytics solutions, system integration, system support, consulting and advisory services.
